What on earth is "Hopper Deck Thursday"??? Well in true CrossFit fashion of "Fit" people being able to handle whatever life happens to throw at them....this workout is just that. The "Hopper Deck" is a deck of 52 cards each with a different workout....anything and everything but all "HARD". So at the beginning of the class some lucky person gets to draw a card from the deck and "voila" we have our workout....So we did Chelsea yesterday with 150 pull ups, 300 push ups, and 450 squats, and we happen to draw a workout with Pull ups, push ups and squats.....TOUGH LUCK!! Plus it gives us a good chance to work on our "goats"...that is the things that we don't do alot of because of the skill level involved ,or the suck factor,or whatever....Today just happened to be one of those "Goats" for most people.......The dreaded Handstand Pushups...I hate them, I suck at them....but ignoring them will certainly not make me any better at them...so scale however you need ...use abmats, use boxes, use bands...just get them done and make them as hard as you possible can....and then the next time they come up they might be that much easier.
