Since we did a CrossFit Total with lots of our members earlier in the week we now have a much better idea about how to load accordingly. Absolutle strength or max strength is very important but probably even more important and more applicable to fitness and life is working weight strength or the ability to repeatedly lift a high % of your max effort. I think that this is the most useful way to train strength as it is safer and in most cases has a better transfer over to sport and functional application.
WOD
Find 1 rep max deadlift
3 reps of Deadlift every minute on the minute at 75% of 1 rep max for 12 minutes (36 reps)
rest 3 or 4 minutes then...
15 KB swings (24kg/16kg)
3 Turkish Gets Ups per side (16kg/ 12 kg) 5 rounds
10 Weighted Sit ups (35 lbs/ 25 lbs)
